Alejandro Hidalgo is a film director, screenwriter and producer known for "La Casa del Fin de los Tiempos" (2013) a.k.a "The House at the End of Time", the first Venezuelan horror film. The movie, acclaimed for its plot and twist, became the highest-grossing horror film in the history of Venezuela and the widest distributed Venezuelan film in the world. In 2016, New Line Cinema announced they have nabbed the rights to produce an American remake. Hidalgo is attached as director and producer.In 2019, Hidalgo completed principal photography for his first feature film in English "The Exorcism of God". The movie is represented by the sales company XYZ Films and it will hit movie theaters in the US and around the world during the first quarter of 2022.
